Macklemore and Ryan Lewis‘ new album, This Unruly Mess I’ve Made, will be released this Friday, February 26, and the Grammy Award-winning duo has liberated one last pre-release music video. The above clip, co-directed by Lewis and Jason Koenig, is for “Kevin,” a deeply personal song on which Macklemore discusses the troubling effects of America’s pharmaceutical and narcotics culture, in addition to its enabling relationship with addiction, which is a ubiquitous American problem. The song was first debuted at November’s American Music Awards, where the “Downtown” rapper debuted the cut with the help of Leon Bridges, who is also featured in the music video, and is one of several guest vocalists who will appear on This Unruly Mess I’ve Made, joining Jamila Woods, Ed Sheeran and more.
